Services

Three disciplines, held to one standard: did it make people healthier?

Most health organisations buy evidence from one firm and delivery from another, and the handover is where value is lost. We work across all three, so the people who found the problem stay with you to fix it.

Health outcomes and intelligence

We find out how health data is really used in planning and decision-making, where it breaks down, and what it would take for evidence to shape strategy and investment. Our research combines systematic review of policy and published evidence with in-depth interviews among the people who run the system.

The output is not a long report for its own sake. It is a short set of actions government and partners can take, sequenced from immediate fixes to long-term reform.

In practice

Questions we help answer

  • How is data actually used in our national planning, and where does it fall short?
  • Which investments in health information systems will make the biggest difference?
  • What evidence do we need in place before the next strategic plan?

What we deliver

  • Landscape analyses of public health analytics
  • Health information system and data quality reviews
  • Key informant research with ministries and national programmes
  • Policy briefs and prioritised recommendations for government

Digital and AI transformation

Health systems rarely lack data. They lack systems that connect, rules that govern them and people with the time and skills to use them. We help organisations set the strategy, design the integration and build the workforce so digital health investment outlasts the funding cycle that paid for it.

The same foundations decide whether AI succeeds. We help organisations find the use cases where AI will genuinely improve planning, surveillance or operations, prepare their data for it, and adopt it with the governance and clinical safety that regulators and the public expect.

Throughout, we build capability that sits inside government and health organisations, not with external partners.

Questions we help answer

  • How do we connect a national platform such as DHIS2 with disease-specific systems?
  • What governance, privacy and legislation does our health data need?
  • Where can AI genuinely help us, and how do we adopt it safely?
  • How do we build analytics capacity that does not depend on donors?

What we deliver

  • Digital health strategy and HMIS policy
  • Interoperability and data integration roadmaps
  • Health data governance frameworks
  • AI readiness assessments and use case prioritisation
  • AI governance, clinical safety and evaluation
  • Analytics workforce, adoption and change plans

Product and programme development

We take health products and national programmes from mandate to live service. That means mobilising the programme, shaping the product with the people who will use it, standardising the operations around it and tracking whether the benefits arrive.

Our consultants have led national health technology programmes and large-scale transformation in complex, regulated organisations.

In practice

The National Defibrillator Network, and standardising CAFM systems across NHS operations.

  • Product discovery, design and launch
